2 more knives and sheath

Here a small update, i made a cable damast knife and after working with it i was not satisfied so i changed the handle, it was to long and i personalized it by adding a Samoan symbol at the end of the handle.
The damast didn't came out so much so i etched it a extra  couple of times and it also i missed a sheath for it so i made one out of a old booth laying around.
I hand stitched the the leather sheath and added some old glass beads on it abd a seed i found in the jungle of Bolivia when i was there. Also i added a nice piece of vilt cloth (1930 USA/NY) from a cigar box with a old native american pattern on it (and No it's not meant as a nazi swastika from Hitler and No i don't have any right wing sympathies, this symbol is used by tribes all over the world for more than 1000 years and has many positive meanings).
The next knife started out as a small kitchen knife project but now when it's finished i think it's more a utility knife, something you can use for many things.
It's a high carbon damast blade, full tang with convex grind, silver/nickel pins and a hexagon brass pin in the middle.
Thanx for watching, Igor.

Cable damascus

Last 3 weeks i've been working on some designs, i forged some different types of knives and i hammer out an old double headed peen hammer to make an axe.
Because i had surgery on my leg i was not able to forge a lot but had time enough to sit on a chair and make up some new ideas.
Thanx for watching, take care Igor.
Brut de Forge hunter, cable damast, convex edge,
arrowhead hammer stroke pattern and tumb ridge, handle made out of
horse chestnut burl from Hawai.

Axe out of a old double headed peen hammer,
with hazel handle and a burned in Samoantattoo symbol.

This is a little woodcarver, Brut de forge mini drop point, with
convex edge and arrowhead hammer stroke pattern, firework
on the spine, handle made from deer antlers, guard from black
epoxy with abalone, butt cap from abalone.

Last pictures are some new ideas for knives i have been working on,
